The Sound Studies Group is an international academic team dedicated to sound studies across disciplines, regions, and institutions. From theory to practice, it explores all things related to sound. It also operates a Sound Lab in the School of Design, SUSTech Shenzhen.

Yixuan Jin

Yixuan Jin is a master’s student in Media Arts at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she currently works as a research assistant. Her interests include digital musical instruments, media arts, and human–computer interaction. Her creative works have been accepted and presented at NIME’25 (New Interfaces for Musical Expression), ICMC’24&25 (International Computer Music Conference), MUSICACOUSTICA-HANGZHOU’24, and NYCEMF’24 (New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival).
