The Sound Studies Group is an international academic team dedicated to sound studies across disciplines, regions, and institutions. From theory to practice, it explores all things related to sound. It also operates a Sound Lab in the School of Design, SUSTech Shenzhen.

Yixuan Jin





Yixuan Jin is an undergraduate student from Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, majoring in Art and Science Technology. She is passionate about sound design, data-driven instruments, interactive music and human computer interaction. Her creative works have been accepted by and presented at ICMC’24 (International Computer Music Conference) and NYCEMF’24 (New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival). She has joined the research team of Marcel Sagesser as a research assistant since summer 2024.
