Yaohan Zhang

Yaohan Zhang is an interdisciplinary designer and artist who graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London in Dec 2023 with a First Class Masters in Design, specialized in Expanded Practice, Space and Participation. My practice challenges traditional design paradigms and the process of incorporating interdisciplinary elements into design. I have a solid foundation in design thinking with a deep understanding and exploration of spatial narratives, participatory design, immersive experiences, and materials. I focus on the entire design process, from concept generation and extended research to the application of methodologies. I use a comprehensive design approach to ensure impactful outcomes, including artistic visual expression, writing, and printed materials involved in design. I have a diverse range of perspectives and view design as a tool for critique and practice.
