The Sound Studies Group is an international academic team dedicated to sound studies across disciplines, regions, and institutions. From theory to practice, it explores all things related to sound. It also operates a Sound Lab in the School of Design, SUSTech Shenzhen.

Siyuan Yan





Siyuan Yan is currently a master's student at the Politecnico di Milano (Polimi) School of Design, Milano, specializing in Digital and Interaction Design. He is dedicated to exploring knowledge and design experiences across all application areas of digital technologies, including interactive products, responsive environments, intangible and multimedia interfaces, and more. He completed his undergraduate studies (BEng Industrial Design) at the SUSTech School of Design, where he worked with Prof. Qiushi Xu on his final year project that included sound and systems design for driverless taxis in Shenzhen.
