The Sound Studies Group is an international academic team dedicated to sound studies across disciplines, regions, and institutions. From theory to practice, it explores all things related to sound. It also operates a Sound Lab in the School of Design, SUSTech Shenzhen.

Sili Wang




Sili Wang is a master’s student at the SuSTech School of Design, specializing in Intelligent Manufacturing and Robotics. Sili joined Marcel Zaes Sagesser’s team at SUSTech in 2024, where she is conducting research in digital media interacting with the material word (Human-Computer Interaction HCI). Sili earned her bachelor’s degree in industrial design from the South China Agricultural University, in Guangzhou, China, in 2024. Sili is passionate about auditory, haptic, and multisensory forms of human-computer interaction, as well as human-centered design.
