The Sound Studies Group is an international academic team dedicated to sound studies across disciplines, regions, and institutions. From theory to practice, it explores all things related to sound. It also operates a Sound Lab in the School of Design, SUSTech Shenzhen.

Shuhan Yang





Shuhan Yang is a sophomore at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, majoring in Digital Media Technology. In 2025, Shuhan joined Marcel Zaes Sagesser’s research lab at Southern University of Science and Technology, where she is conducting research on the digital media integration of modeling and sound. Shuhan is passionate about exploring different forms of modeling digital content and delving into various sounds, into their contexts, and their expressive potential.
