The Sound Studies Group is an international academic team dedicated to sound studies across disciplines, regions, and institutions. From theory to practice, it explores all things related to sound. It also operates a Sound Lab in the School of Design, SUSTech Shenzhen.

Hao Zheng





Began releasing music in 2021, focusing on electronics and electro-acoustic instruments for both solo and ensemble improvisations, with interests centered around audio illusions, resonance, and feedback. Possesses nearly three years of experience in sound design. A passionate Max user and audio developer, actively engaged in algorithm-driven composition and audio-visual as well as interactive instrument design. Enjoys the design and development of games.
